Engine Air Filter ReplacementEvery 30,000 miles

Motorcraft FA-1883 (3.5L EB) or FA-1828 (5.0L). Inspect every 15,000 mi.

Cabin Air Filter ReplacementEvery 20,000 miles

Motorcraft FP-90.

Tire RotationEvery 7,500 miles

Rotate every other oil change. Inspect tread depth and wear patterns.

Tire Pressure CheckEvery 5,000 miles

Check when cold. Follow door-jamb placard, not tire sidewall max.

Brake Pad InspectionEvery 20,000 miles

Inspect thickness. Replace at ≤3 mm friction material. Severe duty: inspect every 10,000 mi.

Brake Fluid ExchangeEvery 45,000 miles

Motorcraft DOT 4 Low Viscosity.

Coolant ExchangeEvery 100,000 miles

Motorcraft Premium Gold (yellow) or Motorcraft Antifreeze Engine Coolant VC-13DL-G (3.5L EB). 14.3 qt capacity.

Transmission Fluid ChangeEvery 150,000 miles

Normal duty: inspect at 150,000 mi, change if degraded. Severe duty (towing, off-road): change every 60,000 mi. 10R80 (2018+): Motorcraft ULV automatic transmission fluid, ≈11.5 qt total. 6R80 (2015-17): Motorcraft MERCON LV, ≈11.0 qt.

Windshield Wiper Blade ReplacementEvery 12,000 miles

Replace when streaking, chattering, or cracking appears.

Battery Inspection & Terminal CleaningEvery 30,000 miles

Clean terminals, check charge voltage (12.4V+ resting). Load-test after 3 years.

Serpentine/Drive Belt InspectionEvery 30,000 miles

Check for cracks, fraying, glazing. Replace per OEM schedule or at first signs of wear.

Power Steering Fluid CheckEvery 30,000 miles

Top off if low. Investigate leaks. EPAS (electric) vehicles have no fluid.

Fuel Filter ReplacementEvery 50,000 miles

Some modern vehicles have lifetime fuel filters in the tank. Verify before replacing.

Spark Plug ReplacementEvery 100,000 miles

3.5L EcoBoost: Motorcraft SP-534 (CYFS12Y3C), gap 0.030″. 5.0L V8: Motorcraft SP-519, gap 0.052″. 3.5L PowerBoost: Motorcraft SP-580A (gap 0.030″). 3.3L V6: Motorcraft SP-547 (gap 0.050″).

Suspension & Steering InspectionEvery 30,000 miles

Check ball joints, tie rods, bushings, shocks/struts for play and leaks.

Exhaust System InspectionEvery 45,000 miles

Check for leaks, rust, loose hangers. Listen for changes in exhaust note.

A/C System CheckEvery 30,000 miles

Verify A/C performance, check refrigerant level, inspect condenser for debris.

Lubricate Door Hinges, Latches & Hood StrikerEvery 15,000 miles

White lithium grease or OEM-equivalent. Prevents squeaks and wear.

Multi-Point Vehicle InspectionEvery 15,000 miles

Comprehensive bumper-to-bumper check: lights, horn, belts, hoses, leaks, tire condition.

Rear Differential Fluid ChangeEvery 150,000 miles

Normal duty: first change at 150,000 mi, then every 60,000 mi. Severe duty (towing/off-road): 60,000 mi. Motorcraft SAE 75W-85 XL-3 or 75W-140 (heavy towing). Add Motorcraft XL-3 friction modifier if LS diff. Capacity ≈2.5 qt.

Front Differential Fluid ChangeEvery 150,000 miles

Normal duty: first change at 150,000 mi, then every 60,000 mi. Severe duty (towing/off-road): 60,000 mi. 4WD models: Motorcraft SAE 75W-85, capacity ≈1.5 qt.

Transfer Case Fluid ChangeEvery 60,000 miles

4WD: Motorcraft XL-12 transfer case fluid, ≈1.5 qt.

PCV Valve InspectionEvery 100,000 miles

Inspect PCV valve for sludge and proper rattle. 3.5L EcoBoost prone to PCV condensation in cold climates. Replace with Motorcraft BV6Z-6A666-A if clogged.

4WD System InspectionEvery 60,000 miles

Inspect 4WD engagement, shift-on-the-fly, front axle vacuum actuator, and CV joints. Check for binding in turns. Severe duty (off-road): 30,000 mi.

Half-Shaft Boot InspectionEvery 30,000 miles

Inspect CV boot bellows for tears, cracks, or grease leakage. Torn boots require immediate CV joint service. Check both inner (transmission) and outer (wheel) boots.

Parking Brake InspectionEvery 20,000 miles

Test engagement on grade. Check cable travel and condition. Inspect rear caliper parking brake mechanism for seized levers. Adjust if more than 8 clicks to hold.

Front Wheel Bearing InspectionEvery 30,000 miles

Check for play, noise (humming/growling), and heat at hub center. 4WD and towing accelerate wear. Sealed hub assemblies — replace entire hub if worn. Severe duty: 15,000 mi.
